Summer/Autumn Outings

Following the successful series of outings organised in 2025, we have arranged four outings for 2026.

July: Visit to Saughton Gardens on Thursday 30 July: Meet at 2pm at the Four Square Park Cafè for leisurely stroll followed by tea or coffee and a chance to chat at the cafè. No charge, but if planning to come please let Church Office or Douglas Nicol (07811 437075) know by Monday 27 July so we can advise cafè of numbers.
August: Visit to Abbotsford Home of Sir Walter Scott on Thursday 20 August: We'll meet mid-morning at Waverley Station and travel on the scenic Borders Railway to Tweedbank, then travel by Abbotsford courtesy coach to Abbotsford for lunch and tour of the house. Time for shopping at the gift shop and return to Edinburgh late afternoon by train. Cost for train and House admission: £30.  Please book places through the Church Office or directly with Douglas Nicol (07811 437075) by Sunday 2 August.

September: Visit to Greyfriars' Kirk and Greyfriars' Churchyard - Date and details to come.
October: Visit to Scottish Parliament - Date and details to come.
