Stewardship Campaign

Our Stewardship Appeal launches this Sunday 28th September at the Harvest Service and will run until the end of October. Each week we will focus on a different area of the campaign. 

Week one commences with the ‘Challenges of Income and Expenditure’. 

You may be surprised to know that our average annual short fall over the last two years is £26,500

Our biggest source of income is from church members giving (almost two thirds) 

Church offerings have gradually declined over the last ten years

Our expenditure includes a payment to the Church of Scotland, this covers the cost of our Minister and contributes to the Church’s wider important work. Other costs are for running and maintaining the buildings and for our small team of staff.

We are always doing our best to control expenditure but increased income would allow us to run a balanced budget and be more financially stable. We would love to have your interest in the appeal. Leaflets with more information will be available on Sunday mornings or from the church office and will also be delivered to some members homes. There will also be an information table in the main hall after the service on Sunday mornings where you can ask questions - so why not drop in for a cuppa!
