Summer/Autumn Outings
Following the successful series of outings organised in 2025, we have arranged four outings for 2026. The first outing to Saughton Park on 30th July was a great success.
August: Visit to Abbotsford Home of Sir Walter Scott on Thursday 20 August: We'll meet mid-morning at Waverley Station and travel on the scenic Borders Railway to Tweedbank, then travel by Abbotsford courtesy coach to Abbotsford for lunch and tour of the house. Time for shopping at the gift shop and return to Edinburgh late afternoon by train. Cost for train and House admission: £30. Please book places through the Church Office or directly with Douglas Nicol (07811 437075) by Sunday 2 August.
